The adidas ZX Flux has again mutated. This time around the transformation is a little bit more subtle on the new adidas Originals ZX Flux NPS. The traditional upper is ditched in favor a ripstop nylon upper and the innards of the shoe are replaced with a neorpene bootie – we suspect that that might be what the “NPS” in the shoe’s official designation is referring too. Take a better look at this latest version of the fan-favorite adidas Originals ZX Flux silhouette with us and watch for the word here on Sneaker News regarding when they’ll be available at US shops.

Foot Locker Europe has crafted the new “Back to Black” collection, which gatheres silhouettes from Nike and adidas and informally groups them together based on them adhering to the darkest end of the colorblocking spectrum. You’ve seen some of these before, like the Nike Huarache pair, but there are also brand new sneakers included like an all black Nike Roshe Run and an adidas ZX Flux that has kind of a Jordan Future feel. Find photos of each after the break and watch for these exclusively at Foot Locker Europe locations right now.

The adidas ZX Flux continues to dominate the three stripe’s summer catalogue, so much so that the brand recently unveiled the pair’s sequel in the adidas Originals ZX Flux 2.0. The ZX Flux Weave has gone a little under the radar as far as we’re concerned though, and there’s no reason why the shoe shouldn’t be getting as much shine as the original. The latest pair features an “Onix” construction, one that pairs some dark grey with teal, purple, and blue hues for a calm and cool aesthetic. What do you think of the latest adidas ZX Flux release? There’s another regionally exclusive version of the adidas ZX Flux coming. Unlike the previous Berlin and Shanghai pairs though, this shoe ignores the whole satellite imagery thing and instead goes a more standard graphic route. Well, as standard as a fierce avian, ying yang adorned sneaker can be. adidas Originals is opening a new spot in Seoul tomorrow and these will be there, and apparently the new spot in Berlin will also have them. Get a better idea of what to expect after the break and tell us in the comments if you’ll be looking out for the adidas ZX Flux “Seoul”.

The second installment of the adidas Originals ZX Flux is here, and it doesn’t disappoint. The shoe stays true to the original as the silhouette remains relatively similar, but that doesn’t mean that the three stripes didn’t improve on the surprisingly successful model thanks to a new mid-foot overlay that adds support while the heel support is ditched entirely. Today’s variety features an all black upper that gets a mesh base while synthetic leather hits the overlay. Hit the click for more images and be on the lookout for a stateside release date in the near future.

adidas zx flux 2 dark blue solar red 01 570x400 Is This A Sequel to the adidas ZX Flux?

The Nike Roshe Run set the tone for other brands to follow suit with a comfortable casual summer shoe laden with mesh and an attractive price point when it was introduced in 2012. Then the three stripes gave us the adidas ZX Flux prompting questions of whether it was this year’s Roshe Run. And while the Swoosh counterpart hasn’t gotten a true sequel just yet, is the shoe pictured above the adidas Originals ZX Flux 2.0? The shoe gets a slight redesign, getting rid of the signature heel support seen on retro models while the midfoot gets an added overlay. The silhouette itself remains¬†relatively¬†unchanged.¬†Check out more of this upcoming ZX Flux after the click and let us know if you’re excited about the prospect of an official sequel by penning your thoughts in the comments section.

adidas zx flux mi zx flux samples A Preview of adidas ZX Flux #miZXFlux Samples

The upcoming miZXFlux version of the adidas ZX Flux presents more customizable opportunities than any sneaker ever before since you can actually just print a photograph onto the shoe. We’re sure that plenty are at this point more concerned with whittling their selections as far as what to print on a pair than they are collecting images to create with. A couple of weeks back the #miZXFlux opening in Berlin had some pretty good examples of what’s capable, including joints like the above pasta pair and an all-over Sneaker Freaker design. Continue reading to see some examples and remember that the photo print app is set to launch this August.
