AIR JORDAN XI The Air Jordan XI released in 1995 and was designed by Tinker Hatfield. It was the first Nike/Jordan basketball sneaker to use patent leather and carbon fiber. The Air Jordan XI is considered to be one of the greatest sneakers of all-time. Since 2008, Jordan Brand has released an Air Jordan XI in December, and is one of the most coveted sneakers each year. There’s another Air Jordan XI Low sample to add to the treasure trove of those that’ve popped up in the past couple of months. The sneaker takes on an all over red approach for the upper and brings in a gum sole for the bottom, with just a little bit of white separating those two sections. Would a pair like this still perform at retail given the lack of the beloved icy outsole? Give us your thoughts on that and check out the Air Jordan XI Low in red/white/gum after the jump.

Earlier this week Sneaker News showed you an incredible set of lifelike Michael Jordan figurines so supremely crafted that every single detail, from the Air Jordans on-feet to the natural shape of MJ’s jersey could’ve been mistaken as the real thing. Turns out these figurines, created by Enterbay, is part of a traveling showcase put for by Nikon Hong Kong, with a giveaway of two of these limited-issue figurines (just 2,500 made) going to lucky event-goers. You probably won’t be able to see them in person (unless you’re in China), so check out this incredible showcase of figurines and Air Jordan artifacts below. If you’re interested in purchasing a figurine for your collection, there are some available on eBay.

If you’re new to the Air Jordan game, you probably have a whole lot of catching up to do. With nearly every original Air Jordan already gone through the Retro cycle (with a few making several comebacks), the available options to build your Air Jordan collection could keep you busy for months – or you can cop this sick 97-pair collection in one fell swoop. This particular lot includes only the Air Jordan 1 through Air Jordan XIII in sizes 10.5-11.0, but nearly every pair brand spankin’ new and there’s some serious heat in here (’94 Retros, Eminem IIs, the original DMP, etc.). The asking price, however, is at $45,000, which boils down to $463.92 per pair, but the comfort of completing a sick library of Air Jordans in just one click might be too tempting if you have that sort of dough to spare (free shipping, though). Check out the entire collection below, and be sure to check the full listing from babiiicakes26 on eBay.

If the Air Jordan XI rotation continues in the current direction, it shouldn’t be too long before we see the Air Jordan XI ‘Space Jam’ retro come back around. Would they be able to generate the same frenzied response if that did happen? We’d imagine so. And if they really wanted to go the extra mile, Jordan Brand could go ahead and slap the ’45′ hit on the back end a la this 2000 era sample. Along with that little detail, the sneakers also feature the alternate ‘Jordan Jam’ text across the lace placket. Continue reading to check out this Air Jordan XI ‘Space Jam’ sample then take a look at the price on them from lilshk54321 on eBay.

The Air Jordan XI Low is coming back this summer in the form of this white, black, and red colorway shown here. With the patent leather version of the low seemingly here to stay, you’d think that Jordan Brand would be inclined to bring back some of the more simply blocked pairs that hit around the turn of the century, but that doesn’t seem to be in the plans just yet. Continue reading to get the latest look and then check out the original listing on this Air Jordan XI Low from oregonsole on eBay.
