The Alien Stomper is one of those sneakers that’s been out for longer than some sneakerheads have been alive, yet still manages a futuristic vibe even to this day.  Accordingly, they’re more popular in the progressive Japanese fashion scene than here in the States, and that’s a fact that’ll leave lovers of the quintessential RBK style jealous of this new release.  This new CHAPTER x Reebok Alien Stomper is almost as simple as last December’s entirely black edition, their all-white uppers adding a gum bottom for a look that’s most definitely a time-tested hit, but just one degree away from the true Reebok Classic motif of white and grey.  Click through to see more details like the multicolor heel branding and hit up your overseas connects to get in on the pre-order from CHAPTER.

adidas Originals has offered quite a few of both collaborations and fres new lifestyle-oriented designs, but rarely have the two been paired together in a case when the silhouette wasn’t a designer’s own handwork.  This new CHAPTER x VANQUISH x adidas Originals adiRise joins the ranks of Jeremy Scott’s JS Bones Hardland in this overlap, a tuxedo black take on this basketball-borrowing hightop whose studs give it the kind of over-the-top push for which Scott’s ObyO drops are known.  Select Japanese retailers will have these available in late March, with CHAPTER taking pre-orders right now.

Our latest look at an Asian-exclusive sneaker collaboration comes courtesy of a brand who just released a different model in a similarly spartan colorway, on a model that has now seen three Japanese sneaker stores release their own this year.  And the CHAPTER x Reebok Alien Stomper comes off quite similar to the one mita sneakers released back in spring thanks to both pairs utilizing black leather and nothing else on their still-futuristic uppers.  CHAPTER’s pair, however, comes off considerably darker than mita’s or the one atmos produced thanks to an utter lack of white accents and leopard spots, respectively, this newest drop instead utilizing the texture found on large sections of rubberized leather to provide a bit of contrast.  Click through to see the mix of materials up close and expect them to release in mid-December.  via Sneak-r

One need only enter the word ‘wheat’ into the Sneaker News search box to see just how many sneakers are taking their cues from the classic Timberland 6″ boot this winter.  Many brands have even offered more than one, and in the case of adidas Originals, more than one on the exact same silhouette.  The CHAPTER x adidas Originals Hardland WNTR might at first glance appear identical to the other wheat pair that released about two weeks ago, but these are arguably truer to their inspiration than those purple-lined joints thanks to a richer upper and a dark brown leather lining that’s considerably more rugged.  Check them out in more detail after the jump, but be prepared to work your international connections on this one, because they’re available for pre-order straight from CHAPTER.
