converse winter tech pack 1 Converse Winter Tech Pack size? UK Exclusive

Winter is always a combative time for sneakers. The release slate is full of some great retros but if you live in a climate prone to inclement weather (i.e. snow, sleet, and the dangerous terrain of New York City’s slush filled cross walks) then you won’t want to risk wearing any of your recent pick ups. The latest Converse project is a nice alternative to any retro wears as it displays some grown-up aesthetic atop the Converse Matchpoint, Chuck Taylor All Star, and Malden Racer. Through utilizing a number of premium fabrics like a rich suede, leather, and some ripstop nylon for good measure, the bespoke feel emanates throughout each pair. The collection will be releasing exclusively at UK retailer size? on Friday, October 17th. Stick around after the break for a better view.

This might be the closest we’ve ever seen a Converse shoe get to the Missoni look without actually being a collaboration. Everything from the woven upper to the brown leather accents suggest another team up with that house, but as you can see there are no bits of branding to suggest such a team up (There is also no mention in the original copy regarding a collab). The good news is that the lack of a team up here should have them a lot more comfortable than those $200 Missoni pairs. Get more angles on these Chucks below and let us know whether or not you like them.

converse chuck taylor all star rainbow weave collection 01 Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Color Weave Collection

Converse has had some pretty colorful outings in the past couple of years thanks to their borrowed Missoni fabrics, but those might have just been topped by this rainbow creation. The “Color Weave Collection” from Converse features a woven look almost echos some previous Nike Air Woven classics, although the strands here are a bit thicker so you won’t see as much color switching. You can continue reading to see the other pair that will be included in the set and you can watch for the Converse “Color Weave Collection” to launch at Converse spots in China and South Korea starting on October 1st, with Hong Kong and Taiwan following on the 17th.
