The Black History Month collection for 2011 from Nike/Jordan Brand/Converse was one of the better tribute sets we saw this year, and the lineup for 2012 is looking equally strong. The elegant black and gold styling was applied to fan favorites like the Nike Zoom Kobe VI and the Air Jordan III which disappeared quickly from retail shelves. Looks like there was at least one ‘what if’ model that never hit the market though, this Jordan Melo M7 done up in the black/gold look. The results again betray the flashy notion of a gold sneaker, with the royal color applied only on the accents. This one of a kind promo even comes with the premium wooden box that accompanied the retail drops from the set, making it the complete package. Check out the pics after the jump and hit up the auction to own this crazy Carmelo Anthony promo piece from thecoolshoeshine on eBay.
