Appearing for the first time since the debut duo popped up out of nowhere for a midsummer release, the Nike Air Apprentice is back with a new pair of pairs. The latest monochromatic creations from Nike Sportswear, these new Air Apprentices are crafted in leather with perfed Swoosh outlines whose underlay and the toe/tongue/collar are cast in a reflective material for the dopest of backlit looks in the right circumstances. Nike Sportswear has expanded to offer an unprecedented range of chukka-style sneakers in its lifestyle lineup, but lost in the mix have been new ’80s basketball-inspired silos. Models like the Air Royal, Royalty and Flytop all made their mark on the early ’10s, and now they’re joined by a new member who’s ready to put in their dues to earn a spot in the regular rotation. The Nike Air Apprentice reads just like those aforementioned NSW styles, the quality materials in use on this Premium build readily apparent in the photos from Sneakersnstuff in Europe. They’ll be available in just a few hours there, so let us know what you think and catch these at stateside NSW retailers soon as 21 Mercer already has them in stock.
