All these visuals of the NBA’s biggest superstars flying through arenas should only get you riled up for what’s about to go down this August. The world’s best will reprise their roles as part of the ‘Dream Team’, defending the Gold Medal honor while donning the Red/White/Blue and matching sneakers, which we’ve been keeping you on top since we first broke the news on the Nike Sportswear Olympic Pack earlier this year. While the Air Force 1 High didn’t see any on-court action in Barcelona back in ’92, it will still own the role as ‘anchor’ for the Pack while continuing the AF1-XXX celebration simultaneously. These are expected to hit select Nike Sportswear retailers this Fall 2012 season, so take a look at the new set of images below and stay tuned for more updates! Photos: kumastock

Sneaker News hasn’t profiled a single new Air Force 1 Mid release since January, so not only is it great news that a new pair is dropping right now, but also that it’s being joined by another AF1 that’s likely the more popular silhouette. The Nike Air Force 1 Mid in white leather with select Dark Obsidian accents is blocked in the same pattern as a Vivid Orange-accented Air Force 1 High, both of which sport the Uptown’s most basic color-on-white scheme. These are indispensible summertime sneakers whose color pops only add wearability, and they’re available now from Foot Locker and their House of Hoops specialty locations.

For all those Sneaker News readers out there too young to have celebrated one (which represents a hefty majority), the reason Nike Sportswear is giving the Air Force 1 so many pearl gifts is because that’s the traditional present to commemorate 30 years of wedded bliss. It’s with that in mind that the AF1-XXX ‘Pearl’ collection adds opalescent dubraes and generally premium construction to this three-decade dominator, the latest instance of which is likely the most rugged to date. The Nike Air Force 1 High DCN Military Boot goes in the opposite direction as the Lux Max Air drops, opting for a revised, strapless ankle and an earthy suede/nylon combo that’s sure to sell out with quickness just like the other XXX Pearl drops. Check these out in greater detail below and be ready when they arrive at Nike Sportswear retailers like Limited Edt soon.

The fifth installment of 2012′s Nike AF1 XXX collection continues with a rugged ‘Boot’ edition that has evolved from the clean and crisp Air Force 1 High ‘Pearl Collection’. The focus of this Air Force 1 Hi is ‘durability’ as it borrows cues from the classic military boot while using the Air Force 1 High Workboot construction as its base while utilizing boot eyestays and laces, metal hardware, and rugged solid gum outsole. The upper also pays homage to the Nike Special Field Boot with the suede/nylon dual-construction. Like the other exclusive members of the AF1 Pearl Collection this Air Force 1 High Boot features mother of pearl dubrets and aglets, a vintage sockliner, and a premium box. We’ll keep you updated on this sick Air Force 1 release so flip through the gallery below and we’ll keep you in tune with solid release information as it develops.

Are we overlooking one of the biggest NBA rivalries in history? Kobe Bryant and LeBron James have never crossed paths on any major stage of competition (so we’re not, by any means, comparing Kobe/LeBron to Bird/Magic or Jordan/Magic), but there really isn’t any ‘good blood’ between these two superstars. There certainly was heat between that 2010 Christmas Day matchup, when LeBron made his first trip to LA as a member of the Heat, and even teammate D-Wade took an inadvertent shot at Kobe which resulted in a nasal fracture…at the All-Star Game of all places. Kobe and LeBron are paired once again in this mini-Pack of Air Force 1 releases, as the Low takes shape as the Black Mamba while the High assumes the role of King James – so which release will come out on top? You can snag either pair of the Air Force 1s next Saturday, April 28th, as they are beginning to arrive at select Nike Sportswear retailers like Rock City Kicks, or grab the Black Mamba or King James now on eBay.

Are we looking at a continuation of the LeBron James x Nike Sportswear Collection of the Holiday 2011 season? We showed you these crispy High-cut Air Force 1s a few days ago, but here it is again sprawled among a nice spread of Nike Sportswear apparel donning LBJ’s ’6′ jersey number as well as his stylized lion logo. These Forces couldn’t be any cleaner though, as it utilized the soft grain leather in a tonal-black package paired with a solid white outsole and accents of red on the interior lining as well as on the ‘AIR’ on the midsole. We’ll keep you updated if the LeBron James x NSW is in fact receiving a continuation for this Summer 2012 season, but rest assured that these Forces will hit stores this April 28th. Photo: edtrigger

It looks as if the 30th Anniversary Collection of Air Force 1′s has caused a trickle down of premium looks across the board, with this quick duo of Uptowns boasting some material upgrades. The low pair comes with anthracite leather up top that gets progressively more textured towards the back end, capped off at the heel with a diamond shaped alligator looking print. The high pair is a bit more sleek and smooth, opting for a simple black setup in contrast with the pearly white midsole. Hit the jump to check out both of these premium Nike Air Force 1 drops for April and pick either at 21 Mercer in NYC now, or wait it out till the 28th when they’ll hit Nikestore online.

The Nike Air Force 1 iD launched with new Safari print options this monday, their combination of immortal 1980s styles still available for a short time as April’s limited material selection. The Safari print itself is available in two combinations (Dark Grey on Stealth or black on Khaki), but given that each element can come with your choice of those, vibrant full grain leathers, earth nubucks or even tonal Elephant print colors means that there’s quite a bit more variety available than what’s been implied by these conservative sample designs. Check them out in more detail after the jump and let us know what kind of recipe you’re concocting for the Safari print Air Force 1 iD that’s available now online and in Tokyo at Nike Harajuku.
