Kevin Durant scored his first career victory over LeBron James in his sixth try last night, but the NBA’s scoring leader isn’t the only reason Oklahoma City was able to push its winning streak to five over the Miami Heat. Giving credit where it’s due includes props to the Thunder’s new frontline and another solid performance from Russell Westbrook. OKC’s point guard is enjoying the finest season of his career, so ‘Why Not’ give him a new Nike Basketball player exclusive, this time in the form of the Nike Air Max Fly By. Westbrook donned this Air Max Fly By away PE at American Airlines Arena and now has his chioce of Zoom or Max Air cushioning for the rest of the season. Will Russell Westbrook stick with the AM Fly By or switch back to the Zoom Hyperfuse? Your best way to find out is by sticking with Sneaker News to see the latest in NBA Feet, and be sure to click through to get more shots of these where you can let us know which ones you prefer when you leave a comment.

The New York Knicks have gone from cellar dwellers to serious contenders and with their latest trade seem poised to challenge the East’s elite for the conference championship. But before Carmelo and Mr. Big Shot joined the new look Knicks, it was Amare Stoudemire who made basketball at Madison Square Garden relevant for the first time since the Van Gundy era. The Mecca of Basketball is once again among the hottest tickets in sports, as are the Knicks’ road games where you might get a glimpse of Stoudemire’s Nike Air Max Fly By away PE. These joints use black in place of the home pair’s white sections to provide the visitor aesthetic and remind us that similarly colored Air Jordan Melo PEs can’t be too far off. Amar’e Stoudemire broke out a new colorway for the 2011 NBA All-Star Game this past Sunday, and while the black and blue look would work for regular season play as well, here’s a look at a new Nike Air Max Fly By PE that’s pure New York basketball. Were this colorway any more natural a match for home games at Madison Square Garden, they’d have to have the entire Knickerbockers team name plastered on ‘em. As it turns out, this white-based AM Fly By with mostly orange accents plus a few blue hits is a far better look with the ‘AS’ logo at its lateral ankle, and with Carmelo Anthony having helped NYK secure the win after Amar’e fouled out last night, Knicks fans have even more to celebrate (seriously; get ready for some of the best Air Jordan colorways ever!). Click through to see more of Amar’e's latest Nike Basketball player exclusive and stick with Sneaker News for the latest in NBA Feet.

In the span of a few short hours Saturday night, Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin crossed over from being ‘just’ a strong favorite for Rookie of the Year to an unforgettable sensation with his performance in the dunk contest. Even if the Clippers’ curse once again wreaks havoc on his knees, we’ll always remember Blake jamming over the surprisingly sleek Kia from which teammate Baron Davis lobbed the perfect oop. We had expected to see him wear the Hyperdunk 2011 PE that he ended up rocking during the 2011 NBA All-Star Game, but instead, the Blakequake found its epicenter in a pair of Nike Air Max Fly By PEs. These have been Griffin’s go-to kicks so far this year, and while a signature sneaker can’t be too far off, we’d still love to see these (and his HD2011s) hit retail. No word on when or if that’ll happen, so click through to see more of Blake Griffin’s Air Max Fly By and let us know which of his Nike Basketball player exclusives you like best.
