With the beloved see through air-bag getting bigger and bigger each year for Nike’s Air Max line, it seems like we may have finally reached a stopping point for expansion. So with models like the above pictured Nike Air Max Ultra sporting 360 cushioning on the soles, it appears that the only way to go from here is up. And that’s exactly what Nike designers did on this one, utilizing a layered mesh that allows better breathability, hence more air. This sleek new colorway bears some resemblance to the Hurley x Nike Air Max 90 ‘Phantom 4D’, echoing the dark Hyperfuse construction in unison with a few choice bursts of color. Air bags certainly have come a long way since the Air Max 1, and you might even say we’re a bit spoiled these days with the type of treatment that Nike running is doing to modernize sole kits. We’ll take it though, as the 360 Max Air unit has been one of the most welcomed additions to Air Max technology in terms of comfort and style. The new Nike Air Max Ultra 365 sits on top of the aforementioned 360 Max Air Sole, coming in a beauty of a mesh upper to push them over the top. The underlying hits of color on the breathable mesh, seen in red on this Nike Air Max Ultra 365 open up interesting colorway combinations, and we can’t wait to see what else the Swoosh cooks up for this one. Hit the jump to get a full look at this Nike Air Max Ultra 365 which is available at Nikestore now.
