Nike SB Blazer Mid ‘Hong Kong’ Customs By JBF

nike sb blazer hong kong jbf summary Nike SB Blazer Mid Hong Kong Customs By JBF

JBF Customs has worked some great magic with the Nike Blazer in the past. His mid-January ‘Jet-Life’ customs were spot on – a tribute to the surging New York Jets and the Curren$y’s popular single, and his 4/20 Hemp joints showed that a simple approach is all that’s needed. His next project is a salute to Hong Kong, using red suede on the uppers with a floral stitching inspired by the flag of Hong Kong. Additional detailing is seen on the swoosh, which is made of a white dragon brocade, the heel, which features Chinese characters that read ‘Hong Kong’, and the tongue, which houses logo of Hong Kong train system. Continue reading for a detailed look at JBF’s latest custom work and let us know if you’d cop if these ever released!

NIKE SB BLAZER CLASSIC HALO TEAM RED Nike SB Blazer Mid Charcoal Halo Team Red

We recently broke you off with a preview of the Nike SB July 2011 collection, and we’re back again to give you an in depth look at the Nike SB Blazer Mid set to drop for the month of July. The suede treatment is a go-to look for the Blazer, and this model pulls it off in a deep shade of navy labeled here as Charcoal. Beyond that we see a not quite white color on the swoosh and laces, reminiscent of the faux vintage treatment we’ve seen on some other Blazer releases. Finally to give the shoe a bit more pop there is a dark red that shows up on the lining and the various Nike branding throughout. Hit the jump to get a more complete look at this Nike SB Blazer Mid, and keep an eye out for them at select SB accounts like Flatspot.

Poets x Nike SB Blazer Mid – Sample on eBay

poets nike blazer mid sample 07 Poets x Nike SB Blazer Mid Sample on eBay

Last Fall, Nike SB collaborated with Gino Iannucci and Poets skateshop to release a Nike SB Blazer Mid ‘Lighthouse’, which featured a tonal navy blue perforated suede upper with a contrast canvas/faux-denim swoosh and a Lighthouse logo stitched on the heel panel. Apparently, before the project was finished, the three figureheads came up with this sample Nike SB Blazer Mid as a blueprint, as it features the same perforated suede upper and solid blue vulcanized midsole. Can you spot the differences? First off, the swoosh on the sample is made up of perforations, the heel-tab features ‘NIKE’ instead of the lighthouse, and the midsole is textured. There are a few more differences so check out the released version here and peep the auction for this sample from cheapskates9107 on eBay.
