Plenty of Nike Sportswear’s classic runners have experienced cushioning updates, but none have attacked the sole swap process quite like this latest release. The Nike Vengeance SD switches from Air cushioning to a dual-density foam setup, but the more intriguing part has to be the welted heel that brings a bit of 19th century shoemaking into the mix. The Nike V-Series favorite the Nike Air Vengeance has been weaving in and out of release calenders for a while now, popping up every couple of seasons with a new edition; Lunar here, VNTG there. The next in that lineage is the Nike Vengeance SD, a reworking that sees an interesting slice of suede slipped in between the upper and the sole kit on the back end.
