The silo is so new, and we’ve seen so many more Max 1 colorways both previewed and actually released since, but did you remember about the original Nike Wardour Chukka? Sneaker News first showed you this as one of many new Nike Sportswear lifestyle designs back in the spring, and though it’s played the background ever since, that doesn’t mean they’ve been nixed in favor of the AM1 hybrid. Has someone at Nike Sportswear experienced a premonition of the end of the world in 2012? Because the lifestyle division over in Beaverton has been 2Pac-level prolific in the young year with a huge variety of fresh updates, hybrids and brand new releases. Falling squarely into that last category is the new Nike Wardour Chukka, a model that made it to market without so much as a preview, despite the fact that its good looks all but ensure a certain level of success. The Wardour is something like a mix of Dunk toe with traditional chukka from there back, all rocking a cupsole where we’ve typically seen vulcanized bottoms. They managed to sneak in before the Kenshin Chukka we previewed back in February and are now available at NSW stores like Titolo alongside fellow freshmen in the Manor, Roshe, Ralston and Sauble; which one is the best new casual Nike sneaker we’ve seen this year?
