Over the past few years, Packer Shoes has knocked it out out of the park time and time again collaborating on sneaker projects with a variety of different brands. For their latest collabo endeavor, the NJ shop teams up for the first time with Saucony for a new spin on the criminally underrated Grid 9000 model, which was recently reintroduced to the masses as part of last year’s Bodega collection. Packer‘s offering features two trail-inspired colorways with a complementary blend of rugged base colors and vivid accent pops and a carefully considered combination of materials covering the uppers. Look for these to release in the not too distant future, so check out the teaser pics after the jump for now and stay tuned for more info and images coming soon.

Yesterday, Packer Shoes played host to one of the most limited sneaker releases in recent memory – the twelve-pair release of the Reebok Zig Encore ‘Beyond The Gold’ John Wall PE. Packaged in a black suitcase alongside a pair of shades and a Flud watch, the ‘Beyond The Gold’ PE serves as one of the brightest under-the-radar drops of the year, although the line-up that formed at noon on Wednesday says that these were very much zeroed in on by vigilant sneaker hunters. The crowd wasn’t limited to the NJ area either; while the first package went to one NYC resident, lucky #8, which also came with tickets to tonight’s Knicks game as well as a meet-and-greet with John Wall, went to Sebastian Cardaval, who traveled all the way from San Diego, CA.
The twelve pairs were gone fast, but Reebok and Packer Shoes didn’t allow the rest of the attendees to go empty handed, as they also released a limited number of other PE colorways of the Zig Encore like the Kentucky PE, a Red/White PE, and the Purple/Yellow Word of God Christian Academy PE. Reebok also dropped some samples, like a sick South Beach-esque pair in Wall’s size 13 that went to the unlucky 13th person in line (not so unlucky now, huh?). We’ve got a nice photo recap of the Reebok Zig Encore ‘Beyond The Gold’ John Wall PE release below, so check it out if you couldn’t be there!

To celebrate ’25 Years of Workout’, Reebok has set off on a mass collaborative campaign featuring fifteen of the most well-respected footwear retailers worldwide and the Reebok Workout. Most of what we’ve showed you so far has come from outside American soil, like the funky fish-scale concept produced by Solebox or the hiking boot motif honed in by Titolo. Packer Shoes of Teaneck, NJ chose to represent the Reebok Workout with a simple two-toned punch of maroon suede and a gum sole, adding additional cream accents as a call-out to the store logo’s color scheme. These are definitely one of the cleanest Reebok Workouts we’ve seen to date, and it’s no surprise that it comes out from the Packer Shoes camp, who hasn’t missed with a Reebok collab yet. Check out the detailed angles below, and stick with Sneaker News for release info and updates regarding the Reebok ’25 Years of Workout’ collection. via HS.

At long last, the good old US of A finally gets its turn to shine with the fourth and final installment of the Packer Shoes x Reebok Court Victory Pump ‘Grand Slam Pack.’ Last, but not least, the U.S. Open edition is coming your way, just in time for the weekend and this year’s tennis madness out in Flushing, Queens. The U.S. Open Pump not only sports the solid blue of the U.S. Open court, but also flaunts a full 3M upper to celebrate the bright lights and flashing cameras of NYC. Additional hits of tennis ball neon and a special ‘QUEENS NY’ insole finish off the design, but there’s still more in store with this release. Joining the shoes will be a shirt and sticker set featuring Kramer, the “ball man” from the classic U.S. Open episode of Seinfeld. A great tie-in with the Seinfeld theme, the shirt is a clever collaboration between Vandal-A and Packer Shoes, with Kramer now rocking what else, but the U.S. Open Pumps. The shirt along with stickers will be packaged with the Pumps and made available for purchase this Thursday, September 1st, in-store at Packer Shoes, as well as through their online shop.

After a lot of head turning and quick sell-outs from the Australian, French and Wimbledon editions, last but not least comes the U.S. Open version.
