To celebrate ’25 Years of Workout’, Reebok has set off on a mass collaborative campaign featuring fifteen of the most well-respected footwear retailers worldwide and the Reebok Workout. Most of what we’ve showed you so far has come from outside American soil, like the funky fish-scale concept produced by Solebox or the hiking boot motif honed in by Titolo. Packer Shoes of Teaneck, NJ chose to represent the Reebok Workout with a simple two-toned punch of maroon suede and a gum sole, adding additional cream accents as a call-out to the store logo’s color scheme. These are definitely one of the cleanest Reebok Workouts we’ve seen to date, and it’s no surprise that it comes out from the Packer Shoes camp, who hasn’t missed with a Reebok collab yet. Packer Shoes has been a respected name in footwear for over 100 years, with the present store in Teaneck, New Jersey now providing customers with the best and latest in today’s styles. Earlier this week, at long last, Packer launched their online shop, featuring a variety of brands and some intriguing items included to help kick off the new venture. At long last, the good old US of A finally gets its turn to shine with the fourth and final installment of the Packer Shoes x Reebok Court Victory Pump ‘Grand Slam Pack.’ Last, but not least, the U.S. Open edition is coming your way, just in time for the weekend and this year’s tennis madness out in Flushing, Queens. The U.S. Open Pump not only sports the solid blue of the U.S. Open court, but also flaunts a full 3M upper to celebrate the bright lights and flashing cameras of NYC. Additional hits of tennis ball neon and a special ‘QUEENS NY’ insole finish off the design, but there’s still more in store with this release. Joining the shoes will be a shirt and sticker set featuring Kramer, the “ball man” from the classic U.S. Open episode of Seinfeld. A great tie-in with the Seinfeld theme, the shirt is a clever collaboration between Vandal-A and Packer Shoes, with Kramer now rocking what else, but the U.S. Open Pumps. The shirt along with stickers will be packaged with the Pumps and made available for purchase this Thursday, September 1st, in-store at Packer Shoes, as well as through their online shop.

The fourth and final leg of tennis’s yearly Grand Slam is about to get underway, and with that, comes the final installment of the Packer Shoes x Reebok Court Victory Pump ‘Grand Slam Pack’ – one of the more creative and well-executed multi-shoe packs we’ve seen so far in 2011. After a lot of head turning and quick sell-outs from the Australian, French and Wimbledon editions, last but not least comes the U.S. Open version. Inspired by the blue court with some tennis ball neon yellow for added pop, the U.S. Open Pump fits right in with a bold look of its own, especially when the full 3M upper is reflecting in the light. Veteran actor Chi McBride has long been a man known for his enviable sneaker arsenal and is no stranger to turning heads with his footwear choices. Chi was recently snapped doing just that on the set of the TNT show HawthoRNe in a pair of the recently released Wimbledon Court Victory Pumps from the Packer Shoes x Reebok ‘Grand Slam Pack.’ Never one to shy away from a bold look, Chi keeps it fresh for summer while enjoying a cigar and a script in his green suede Pumps. We can only hope that the kicks slipped through the wardrobe process and wound up on his feet during the show’s filming, but we’ll just have to wait to see.

Summer is officially here, and this Sunday, the grill will be blazing and the PBR will be flowing as Packer Shoes welcomes the legendary Biz Markie to help celebrate their recent PRO-Keds collaboration with a backyard BBQ. Leather colorways of the classic PRO-Keds 69er Lo are available at the store and online now in black, olive and the Packer exclusive white. The shoe will be packaged along with a special t-shirt and Biz USB keychain and will also grant you entrance to the barbecue. Space will be limited so you’ll need one to get in, but the chance to toast burgers and Pabst Blue Ribbons with Biz should be well worth the price of admission. Those who placed orders online can pick up their shoes and BBQ admission pass beginning at 12:30 pm on Sunday, and anyone looking for a last-minute pair can grab them then as well. Hip-hop and sneaker culture icon Biz Markie will make his mark once again by way of a new collaborative release with Packer Shoes and the PRO-Keds 69er. Sneaker News already filled you in on a special Biz Markie x PRO-Keds Backyard BBQ at Packer Shoes on June 26th, but here’s some additional information on this upcoming release; of the three colorways, the black and olive green versions are limited to just 300 pairs a piece, while the white versions are a Packer exclusive, featuring a Packer Shoes molded leather logo imprint on the heel (and limited to just 150 pairs). Each of the three features a gold Biz Markie logo on the tongue, and will come accompanied by a Packer Shoes x PRO-Keds x Biz Markie t-shirt and a Biz Markie USB Keychain (holding 1 GB). All three are available now at Packer Shoes in-store and online, so check out the detailed images, as well as a video interview with Biz Markie after the jump. Purchase of the shoe will also get you a wristband granting access to Sunday’s BBQ festivities featuring food, entertainment and refreshments provided by Pabst Blue Ribbon, so get yours now while supplies last.
