This latest drop builds off the new edition to create something that’s potentially even more eye-catching, a quality with which the namesake designer is synonymous. Some of Hussein Chalayan’s work with Puma has been as bold as his most daring runway pieces. On the other end of the spectrum, the respected designer has authored some more traditional ultra-premium models, of which the Haast lowtop is a prime example. With lines derived from golden era runners and plenty of suede to match, the Haast was a solid contribution whose pricetag and low-key approach had most sneakerheads sleeping. But add in the popular Disc laceless enclosure that’s been LTWT’d and Fieg’d over the last year, and you’ve got a recipe for the Hussein Chalayan x Puma Haast Disc to make more of a splash this spring/summer.
