Right after the release weekend of Ronnie Fieg’s latest collaboration with one celebrated running imprint and we get our first substantial look at his next. Previewed here is the New Balance 999 that Fieg has been cooking up, apparently a take-off on the beloved ‘Steel Blue’ colorway of the New Balance 1300 that his Kith space recently re-launched in 2012. The sneaker does play with the traditional Steel Blue makeup a little bit, switching out the mesh sectioning towards the toe box and ankle areas in favor of a perforated suede treatment.
