It turns out the Vans California collection “Tribe Pack” is just a little bit deeper than we initially thought. Included in the pack are three separate sneakers, this new set of images revealign the inclusion of the Vans Chukka in the range. That pair ends up as the only one to let up on the patterns just a bit as far as the upper is concerned-the sneakers break to a black suede for the vamp and that lining that extends around the collar. See the Vans California “Cali Tribe” set with us below and grab yours now at select Vans retailers around the globe.

VANS Fall Winter 2013 Footwear Collection Preview 03 Vans Fall/Winter 2013 Footwear Preview

Between all its various lines, Vans has a ton of footwear on track for the remainder of 2013.  Here’s a preview focused on the brand’s core, which is to say the classic models and a couple of their modern skate performance offspring.  Starting with the old school stuff (not including any Old Skools, though), we see the Vans Era done in a mustard yellow canvas.  The Slip-On uses a similar material for its upper, but goes for navy blue instead, as does the Sk8-Hi with burgundy.  One of the latter model’s descendents gets us into the modern skateboarding stuff with Christian Hosoi’s Sk8-Hi Notchback making a return, while Steve Caballero’s Cab Lite goes with a bred colorup atop a stripe-less white sole.  Check out all of these in more photos below and stick with Sneaker News for release info.

milk vans sk8 hi Milk Magazine x Vans 12th Anniversary Collection

Hong Kong’s Milk Magazine has pumped out weekly reports on street fashion for over a decade now, and here’s a celebration of their years of good work in collaboration with one of America’s long established footwear brands.  The Milk x Vans Sk8-Hi takes the mag’s name literally, applying a milky drip atop the famed Jazz stripe that really makes this pair their own.  There’s not an equally visible logo on Milk’s Slip-Ons, so instead, they choose to splatter up the entire washed canvas upper.  Both are done in rich 14 oz cotton with a distressing technique that’s a first for Vans, and they’ll be releasing in Hong Kong this weekend so stay tuned to Sneaker News to see if they make it to US retailers.

Montebelluna is an Italian town with a population of about thirty thousand, but the whole world knows its name thanks to the Calzaturificio Diemme factory and its superior footwear output.  They also applied the town’s name to a couple of its collaborations, as a hightop on the Sk8-Hi and in lowtop form on this Diemme x Vans Vault Montebelluna Lo LX.  These are clearly the iconic Slip-On low as has been in service for some forty years, but crafted in two shades of luxurious brown leather, it’s clear this isn’t your average general release.  Take a closer look at these October drops after the jump below and stick with Sneaker News to see when they hit US Vault stores.
