In commemoration of LeBron James’ and the USA Men’s Basketball Team’s gold medal at this past summer’s Beijing Olympic Games, Nike is set to release a “Witness Gold” package consisting of a pair of “United We Rise” Zoom LeBron VIs, a special commemorative gold box, and a limited edition t-shirt. The sneakers are very similar to original Olympic Zoom LeBron VIs, with the “United We Rise” pair containing the phrase “Witness Gold” on the midfoot strap. It also features LeBron James’ signature in gold on the ankle as well as the date of their gold medal victory: 8/24/08. There will be a total of 114 packs, which will be numbered by laser. Exactly 66 packs will release in the U.S., while 6 packs will release at four stores in China. One special store in China will receive 24 packs.
