For most, Black Friday is the most important day in American shopping culture. This is the day where most retailers attempt to attract the most shoppers with products at high discounts. Many line up hours before early morning store openings. Similar is true to certain sneaker releases where collectors and others line up for hours (and sometimes days) before a sneakers release. This year, DJ Clark Kent has decided to put a twist on the culture of Black Friday and sneaker culture itself with a special edition Black Friday Air Force 1. This is what DJ Clark Kent said of the sneaker:  “So I went to the fabric library, picked the prime suspects and went to work on the design,”  “The end result…Something Black, Luxurious & Fly, and FRESH!!!! What better way to start the holiday shopping season?!?!”

The Black Friday Air Force 1 will drop this Black Friday, November 28th, 2008 at three locations exclusively in the US. The first store to release the sneaker will be Nike Sportswear at 21 Mercer Street in NYC (starting at 4am), followed by releases at Concepts in Boston and Shoe Gallery in Miami later in the day. DJ Clark Kent will be at each of the locations for the release.

What will the shoe look like? You will just have to show up and decided if you like it or not. If you like it, you cop it, if you don’t, there are many more Black Friday events at all the stores in the respective cities.
