Jason Mayden is Senior Footwear Designer for Jordan Brand, and the creative and technical mastermind behind the AIR JORDAN 2009. He oversees the design of current and future innovation footwear platforms—cushioning, traction, upper design, footwear construction, detail execution, material finish and material selection. As a Chicago native, Mayden grew up during the Michael Jordan era and loved watching MJ play in his hometown. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from the College of Creative Studies in Detroit, Michigan.

It’s an innovative and technologically superior BASKETBALL SNEAKER. People are just mad cause it isn’t that asthetically pleasing but realistically, jordans werent made for style. Its always performance first.
