The Air Jordan 1 Retro Infrared was released in Asia today and to the surprise of many (and for the better) the materials and colors have been changed! Infrared is no more, the color has been changed to Max Orange which is a dark rich orange along with black on the upper and a white midsole. Another big change is the infrared patent leather which has been changed to Max Orange nylon, the black pieces on the upper is also made of nylon. Which this change, many are agreeing the new materials and color is much better and has slight resemblance to the AJKO. As mentioned, this colorway is now available in Asia and will hit the US on January 31st. For those of you who can’t wait, they’ve found their way onto eBay.

FAM. JB prolly conceptualized these shoes… production codes on the tongue reveal that most shoes are made at least 8-10 months before the actual release date. AT LEAST! So those pictures that popped up about 2 months ago in no way affected the way in which JB released those.
I’m highly pissed that these fools used canvas on this shoe. I’m guessing the Patent leather and nubuck version was a sample and given the quantity of the canvas ones available on ebay right, now, JB decided to switch to canvas before pictures or insiders had a chance to leak new info.

I dont get WTF people r complaining about max orange looks just like infared just has a diff name and the patent leather joints looked bootleg as a mothafucka this nylon/canvas shit at least looks authentic. Shit I’ve never seen fake J’s with canvas in my life
