Reebok is commemorating Dee Brown’s Slam Dunk Contest win in 1991 during this year’s NBA All Star Weekend. Reebok is releasing a special edition of the Pump Omni Lite, the model Dee Brown wore during his win. Some unique features of this edition include, Dee Brown’s Celtic’s jersey on the inner tongue, a picture of the Old Boston Garden around the collar, and on the sockliner is a picture of the parquee basketball court, with the # and team of each of the final 4 players Dee beat in the Slam Dunk Contest. Their #’s start at the baseline and at the top of the foul line is Dee’s #7. The half circle above the foul line then turns into a crown. Above that it says “Slam Dunk Champion”. The special limited edition will launch February 14 during the NBA All Star Weekend with an in-store appearance by Dee Brown at Shiekh’s Arizona Mills Location. Only 360 pairs will be available exclusively at Shiekh Shoes.

straight up with the Beantown love.
I like the colorway he actually wore at the ’91 dunk contest better (blk/white) but these are dope as hell. I missed out on the last Dee Browns and I’m kicking myself over it.

pump are for scrubs and bench-warmers, I feel like if you have these you should have a starter hat w/ official starter jacket in queue – from 1990 tho cuz you’re playin’ ya self if not!
