It’s safe to say that more than a few minds were blown when images of the Nike Air Hoop Structure first surfaced last month. The notion of a classic running model being transformed into a basketball sneaker was relatively unheard of, although it might seem like a no-brainer now. Obviously the foundation of the design is the Air Structure Triax 91, but you may have thought to yourself that the protruding bubble on the ankle was similar to the Air Jordan VI. While this is in no indicated way a Jordan Fusion model, this new black/infrared colorway seems like another subtle nod to the classic Jordan model. Look for these beauties to drop sometime this fall. Thanks to J.Gibson for the photo.
