Here we have a Vans Forty Four High done in collaboration with United Kingdom native Danny Wainwright who is well known for his deft skating skills and world record for highest ollie. The collaboration with Wainwright is done within the context of Vans’ West vs. East pack that will be including putting shops like Crooks and Castles (West) up against the likes of 5Boro (East). Among the plentiful features on the Forty Four High is the generous use of black suede with black and teal safari print along the heel and mid section. A teal mid-sole adds some pop to the bottom while purple accents the the lining and laces. Look for these at select Vans retailers, but if you can’t find them within reach worrying won’t be necessary as we found plenty of pairs on Ebay.
