For the most part, classics don’t become classics by accident. They are beloved because they were designed so well that their appearance and performance still hold up years after their original release. Because of this, sneaker purists are sometimes resistant to any change to the original. In the case of the Nike Air Max 90, it didn’t really need to be improved, but after seeing the results, we can agree that every once in a while, a little change doesn’t hurt. First came the Air Max 90 Current, which was pretty impressive already, but then they loaded it up with Flywire technology, making it the most lightweight running model in the Air Max arsenal. This nice black on black colorway is set to hit shelves as part of Nike Sportswear’s spring collection, but you can get them now at collette. via Freshness.
