Even if your closet already looks something like the photo above, you’ve still gotta be a little jealous of Eric Koston. After all, the guy made it to Nike SB on his terms and already has a few signature looks associated with his name. Both are Dunks, and Koston discusses the black/white/gum hightop in some depth in his new interview with Nike SB. Along with the interview video, you’ll also see a new photo of those famous ‘juggling’ Dunks after the jump, along with a couple of other funny poses with this wide array of SB boxes.

Wow a black and white dunk high with a gum sole bottom, watch out Tinker Hatfield! Can’t you do that already on Nike ID? No diss Eric but this ain’t up there with the Medicom or Supreme SB dunks let alone what Reese Forbes and Danny Supa did. Respect for getting a gig at Nike but if it’s cats like you that have made the dunks so cheap looking with their plain materials and getting rid of the puffy tongues then Nike have hired the wrong guy. Nike may want to get down with the skaters but if mah fuckers like us stop buying these wack shoes then there goes Nike SB’s budget.

Yeah sorry bro Black and White ain’t bad I have a Black and White pro b griptape which kills it. There is such a thing as originality which Nike SB has shunned in the last year plus there have been so many black and white dunks recently that another one is hardly much to get excited about. I know skate stores that say along with the recession there’s been such a drop off of people coming in for dunks that they still have a full size run on most of the blue boxes which is unheard of in previous years. All I was saying was that if Nike SB keeps churning out cheap product that no one buys then they will have to reevaluate their place in the skating market.
PS say what you will but I’d rather have my shitty style than use the most idiotic word as my signature.

Working at a boutique and having a strong relationship with people in the sneaker community locally and abroad. The recession is hurting small chain stores. As a direct result of this, you’ll notice that 2010 for Nike Sportswear inline is garbage. Literally the entire Nike brand has scaled down production on every major sneaker of the past few years from the Blazer to the AF-1 to the Dunk. 2010 is gonna be 2012 for Nike as we know it. I’m gonna save so much money! However, I’m extremely excited to the see the bouu Eric Koston over @ SB, welcome home for the first time. homie. One Love. You fuck faces need to learn how to spell though.
