Some purists have decried Jordan Brand, lamenting their use of the Air Jordan 1 as a Dunk-style canvas for lifestyle-oriented colorways. And even though some will still find themselves too cool for school, this is the literal foot in the mouth for most of those haters. The Air Jordan 1 ‘Foamposite’ combines two of the pillars of basketball footwear into one pearly black design. The foam-injected AJ1 showed up in ATL’s ‘A Night with Jordan featuring Jason Mayden’, and you can see some more shots of the black Foamposite Air Jordan 1 from the event after the jump. We can’t help but wonder how many more Air Jordan-inspired hybrids we’ll see this year, so be sure to check Sneaker News for updates. via TSG
