Catalog shots of Carmelo Anthony’s next Jordan Brand signature sneaker surfaced back in March alongside the rest of the JB Holiday 2010 preview. Now that Melo’s season is over, it’s time to focus on next year, and that includes the Air Jordan Melo M7. A combination of full grain leathers and synthetic materials, the Melo M7′s one-piece upper conceals an internal lockdown system, according to SLAM. As for cushioning, expect Zoom Air in the Phylon forefoot with a large volume Max Air unit in the heel. The pair pictured above has a shiny patent leather with a pearlescent finish and looks to be a good choice for the Pepsi Center in Denver come next November. THESE HAVE POTENTIAL. It almost looks like JB put some thought into these. The whole one-piece, space boot design definitely isn't anything new. When Kobe and Nike tried it (Kobe 3), it didn't work out. But the AJIX were a work of art. So I'll give 'Melo's "boots" a chance.

i must say a lot of the melo designs have been quite crap, but the technical side of the shoe works pretty well on the court. so i spose you've got a choice; wear these and not care about the look, or just wear something else. a lot of the time no one cares about what youre wearing. as long as you win…

Lol, I guess I'm one of the few, these are the best Melo's since the 1.5's IMO, a clean, organic look, that doesn't have weird sideflaps(M6), or looks like they fused a piece inbetween(m5), and finally no more DHIP(which should increase the performance for bigger/stronger players).
GR a Nuggets colorway, and I'm getting me some.

i feel bad for melo, these look ayt tho, but these look like a pair of AND 1's…slapped with a jumpman. melos kicks are great on the court, but they don't look too good. its up to you. i'd actually buy these. these have potential.
