If you remember Diversitile’s last custom, the Nike Blazer High ‘Walking on Water’, chances are you aren’t surprised at the superb detail in this latest custom shoe. Diversitile’s most recently finished project is a bit more topical, as Iron Man 2 was the inspiration behind this duo of Nike Dunk Highs. Each pair takes on the mega-advanced mechanical suits worn by Tony Stark and James Rhodes, with the arc reactors placed suitably on the tongue. This isn’t the first Nike x Iron Man connection, as Justin Theroux, the man behind the Iron Man 2 screenplay, wore two different pairs of the Nike Air Force 1 inspired by Iron Man and War Machine during the film’s World Premiere. Both pairs of the Nike Dunk High Iron Man 2 customs will be up for sale and availability will be super limited, so stick with Sneaker News and we’ll let you know when these will be available for purchase. via Diversitile.
