His NBA Scoring Title was clearly the impetus, but Kevin Durant’s superstar status was recently cemented as Nike Basketball sent him on a tour of China. An ambassador role reserved for the game’s elite, KD is now in the same class as LeBron, Kobe, D-Wade and Carmelo, and here’s a new sneaker to commemorate the ascention. The Nike KDII Supreme China Edition comes to us in a curious shade, as Photo Blue was used on the East’s 2010 NBA All Star Game PEs, and offers a glimpse of what would have happened, had OKC been in the other conference. Previously reported as a 100-pair limited run for a Chinese high school, these Supreme-level KDIIs are available in just a few sizes from Kicks-Crew.
