Kevin Durant signed an endorsement deal with Nike soon after being drafted second overall in the 2007 NBA Draft by the Seattle Supersonics.  KD turned down a $70 million offer from adidas in favor of a $60mm deal with Beaverton, so you know there’s gotta be some big perks in there.  Chief among them, we’d assume, would be the chance to build a legacy alongside the Swoosh’s iconic designs, and here’s a sneaker that pretty well captures that spirit.

The Nike Air Force 25 was issued that same year to commemorate a quarter-century since the Air Force 1 debuted in 1982, and this pair of AF25 Lows was crafted as a friends & family exclusive for Durant and his crew.  They’re devoid of any Sonics association unless you include the golden sections as corresponding to Seattle’s old yellow and green unis, but the lower case ‘kd’ script logo that marks each of The Durantula’s Nike sigs appears on the lateral heels.  Check out more shots after the jump and check out the auction for a size 11.5 promo sample from lacedheat on eBay.
