Nike’s push toward the inaugural World Basketball Festival in New York this August includes a new addition to the 21 Mercer St. Nike Sportswear flagship store.  Right in the center in the store for just a short while was the Mobile Customization Lab, which is essentially a leaner version of the NIKEiD customization lab at 255 Elizabeth, hence the nickname ‘Mobile 255’.  In conjunction with the drop of the Air Force 1 Five Boroughs Pack, customers were able to engrave one of the heel icons from the Boroughs Edition AF1s or the 1LOVE insignia that’s part of the WBF ‘Locally Celebrated’ theme.  We’ve got some awesome pictures of that and a portable ‘shirt printer’ after the jump thanks to FRESHNESS, so click the jump to see how the mobile lab works.
