When we show you sample kicks here on Sneaker News, there’s usually a healthy debate on whether any changes were warranted for the released product.  Perhaps the most disheartening scenario of all is to see a perfectly awesome pair or pack of kicks tossed to the wayside, as is the case with these Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Highs.  David Z’s Ronnie Fieg got hooked up with pairs in black and grey earlier this year, and despite the ultra-smooth and subtle styling that would have made these a hit, they’re not going to make it to retail.  Click the jump below for a glimpse at what could have been and let us know if you would have copped a pair or two.
