Born nearly 35 years ago, the Nike Blazer design already has ‘vintage’ written all over it. There’s not a hint of Nike Air in the Max, Zoom or Tuned varieties. No Shox, Impax, LunarLon or Free soles. Not even any Flywire, Torch or Hyperfuse! No, the Blazer predates most of the technology that made Nike famous, so when it releases in VNTG form, this usually just means pre-yellowed soles and laces. But on the latest Blazer High VNTG drops, the oft-maligned yellowing is eschewed in favor of two colorways of nappy suede that just kinda look, well, old.
