The Nike Presto is the Alpha Project slip-on shoe that debuted in the 90′s; it was party of a new-age phase of Nike, using progressive designs and the dotted line logo as its trademark. The Presto aimed to bring a futuristic appeal to sneakers, and with the stretchy material, plastic midfoot lace-construction, and newly-designed outsole certainly accomplished that, but over a decade after its debut, the Presto is about to ‘chanjo’ again. The Nike Presto Anti-Fur sheds the elastic upper for one of nubuck suede, with a slightly redesigned forefoot. Three separate colorways of brown/tan, black/red, and dark grey have appeared in Asia, but a U.S. release has not yet been confirmed. Take a look after the jump and let us know what you think of this slightly re-designed Nike Presto. via defynewyork.
