The clear connection between Los Angeles and the movie industry has trickled down to the Nike Zoom Kobe VI, as one special colorway is set to open at the box office tonight for a midnight showing. With 3-D all the rage in action cinema these days, the Nike is riding the latest trend by releasing a unique ’3-D’ uppered colorway of the Kobe VI; it offers a unique viewing of the shoe through 3-D glasses, with the lefthand shoe featuring red accents and the right shoe using blue. The milky-white translucent outsole and special 3-D glasses detail behind the tongue completes this blockbuster Kobe VI release (note: these do not come with 3-D glasses). These will hit Nikestore on midnight, but you can avoid a ‘sold out’ fiasco at the ticket booth by copping a pair now from thecoolshoeshine on eBay.
