The Air Jordan 2011 is a beautifully elegant design but its signature feature is something you can feel far more than see. With ‘Quick’ and ‘Explosive’ interchangeable midsoles offering Zoom and encapsulated Air cushioning respectively, you have the opportunity to tailor the AJ2011 to your preferences. Jordan Brand offered a few lucky ballers a chance to experience the performance benefits for themselves with a setup near Santa Monica Blvd. featuring tests for each insole. For the ‘Quick’ side of things, a ladder drill was used to demonstrate Zoom Air’s superior lateral responsiveness, while the ‘Explosive’ joints provided a soft landing on the vertical jump test. They keep talking about the performance aspect, which is cool, but most people buy these for style. They need to start with style and then put the tech in. These just don't do it. Even with JB saturating the market with advertising, these shoes will still sit. They did get more people to hop on than they did last year but in the end, these are ugly.

With all the athletes that Jordan has, they still can't sell shoes. Come on man. How to you have Chris Paul, Melo and Wade and all you can sell is retros. Must mean that you are doing something wrong. Make a good looking shoe for people to wear with jeans and maybe you would sell more.

the two people above should work for JB….. even the sig shoes for Melo and CP3 are trash. every year JB should pick a jordan sig shoe and retro release it with two older CW's and two new ones. releasing the old shoes will make everyone happy. all of the "team shoes" and "life style" shoes are terrible. the only people who wear them play for Cal, Georgetown, and UNC.

Truth is these are trash! Hands down! JB hasn't made a good looking hoop shoe since the Air Jordan XX! Stop kissing ass and tell the truth. Their not gonna hire you so you might as well speak the obvious. They might be comfortable but they're ugly as hell. The way J.B would sell is if they sold P.E. Retros in runs. i.e. Ray Allen XII's & so on & so on. 2010's did terrible and so will these.

I did just recently. I got the 9s FTLOTG, but then I noticed I had Kobe Vs and VIs sitting around, and the Jordan 2011, and was like…… why and how the hell am I gonna ball in these when I'm use to ballin in Kobes. So they actually just sitting in their box for now. I also tried to ball in the 25th anniversary 11s, and that doesn't work either, the fit is loose and they have poor lockdown. If you ballin in retros…. like Arenas and Bibby… all you doing is trying to look cool, because they perform like shit compared to modern shoes like the Kobes and Jordan 2010/2011s.

no, these are not innovative and haven't sold out anywhere, they are a gimmick that'll be at the outlets in no time at all. they aren't the first shoes with the first anything worth mentioning…even the 2010's were the first shoe with a giant plastic hole in the sides (idiotic design at best). I thought maybe they'd be better in person, they weren't. I thought they'd look better in a different colorway, they don't. They're simplistic beyond belief with a cushioning farce in the mid sole. JB should have given us a shoe designed for when MJ was winning rings, instead we get a shoe that looks like something he might wear in the retirement home.

Jordan comes out and tells you that the release is for performance not looks and all everybody wants to talk about is how they look w/ jeans. It is a quality shoe w/ a neutral appearance to play ball in…..simple enough. Every new release gets bashed because there is an emotional attachment to it. I bought the All-Star Red CW and I'm not a baller, but a collector. I'll give you my opinion on these:
Besides the style aspect, which they scored on, the comfort factor on these sneakers is AMAZING. i wore them w/ one of each insoles in (didn't know they did that out of the box) and all i could say was how AMAZINGLY COMFORTABLE the shoes were. on monday, i put both the red insoles in and it feels like you're wearing a comfy house shoe. i'm gonna wear em w/ the blue insoles tomorrow and i'll report back w/ that.
but really, ya'll are missing out on this shoe. if i can come across the blue pair, i'll scoop those ones too. the blue on them is way too nice. really, to each their own when it comes to this sneaker. style-wise, i got many compliments on the sneaker. i bought them because i always get the new jordan drop for the new year, for my collection. pleased w/ my $185 purchase.
