On Friday, Sneaker News showed you a special edition colorway of the Nike Zoom Huarache TR Low, commemorating Joe Mauer’s achievement for being named the coverboy for the MLB: The Show ’11 video game. This is Mauer’s second video game cover appearance in as many years for the Sony-exclusive baseball simulation franchise, and it features a number of great details like Mauer’s ‘7M’ logo on an inner tongue label on the right shoe, the video-game artwork on both insoles, the baseball-stitch inspired construction on the toe, and of course the Minnesota Twins colorway of navy blue, red, and white. This limited edition release will be avialbale on April 9th at select retailers like Nike Mall of America, Eastbay, and select Minnesota and Chicagoland retailers.
