Nike presents the Spirit of ’73 exhibit at Nike Stadium on Bowery in downtown Manhattan, celebrating the eclectic and vastly contrasting horizon of New York City nearly forty years ago – a far cry from what the metropolitan city is like today. A whirlwind of fresh new music sounds like hip-hop and punk rock, sports triumphs and failures, and mammoth architectural masterpieces was the driving force of the greatest city of the world; Bowery Stadium offers a small history lesson on the life and times of ’73 with a brand new spread of sneakers both new and old, and new faces and names representing the Big Apple.
