Nike Air Max Tempo – Spring 2012

Nike Air Max Tempo Spring 2012

As with any hobby where passions run high, there’s a small subset of intensely dedicated sneakerheads who follow every single notable release.  An even smaller percentage of this group are the kind of guys you hear complaining that Nike Sportswear is giving so-and-so model another retro run when their cult favorites remain in the shadows.  That the above pictured model has been re-issued several times since its 1995 debut and seems to attract none of this unflattering chatter, is solid evidence that the Nike Air Max Tempo is one of the great basketball designs of all time.  It’s multi-unit full-length Air cushioning profile and classic over-the-top Uptempo tooling are like a Delorean set for the heart of the middle ’90s, but you can get your heart set on a trio of new colorways slated for retail in Q1 of next year.  Click through for a closer look at the OG white, black and Mystic Teal edition along with two others, let us know which one is your favorite and stick with Sneaker News for their US release dates.  via CK
