Given their tendency to schedule media events in New York, you might have read the title of this post and assumed that Nike Sportswear’s latest was right across the state line in Connecticut; but if that’s the case, what’s a ‘royal’ observatory doing in Greenwich? It seems a better fit when you consider that NSW’s presentation on their inclusion of Hyperfuse material and fabrication was held in the same place as London’s only planetarium. And the theme goes beyond the obvious lightweight connotations with the National Maritime Museum within which the observatory is situated being bisected by the Earth’s Prime Meridian; what better place to reset the clock on a series of upgraded classics?
