Sneaker Con returned to its home in New York City as over 2,000 sneakerheads convened in lower Manhattan for the biggest sneaker-centric buy/sell/trade event in the world. After a succesful showing in Washington D.C., Sneaker Con was poised for another record-breaking turnout for the June 2011 show, and the NYC-sneakerheads certainly came through. It was a packed house and the lines outside had to be moved to another area so as not to disrupt regular street-traffic, but once you came inside, it was a sight like none other. Of course Sneaker Con is the one occasion where you should wear your most prized possessions, and we some undeniable heat, like the upcoming Dark Pine and Retro Teal Foamposite Pros, the Cool Grey Air Jordan VI custom, and many more. adidas Originals was once again in the house, but there were a few more goodies, like the custom laser etched lace locks! If you were unable to attend the event, there’s no need to worry, because Sneaker Con may be moving to a city near you (Atlanta and D.C. are scheduled stops in the future). Check out this complete Sneaker Con NYC June 2011 Feet Recap and let us know which of the kicks is your favorite!
