Much has changed in LeBron James life since Sneaker News showed you the initial images of the Nike LeBron 8 about a year ago. He’s gone from arguably the world’s most popular basketball superstar to something like a WWE heel, a character we simultaneously revile and replay ad nauseum. LeBron got closer than ever before to his first NBA championship this year, and with the Miami Heat’s nucleus in tact, there’s a pretty strong chance he’ll finally grip the chip while wearing the new Nike LeBron 9. These joints are still being held under wraps with only the tease-iest angles being shared at this point, but it’s clear this black and red LeBron IX features its fair share of carbon fiber, in addition to what appears to be Nike Hyperfuse material on the rear. Lebrons are so much better than J's in so many ways. Quality, comfort, support, just to name a few. The retro J's being put out these days are garbage. They look and feel cheap. Maybe you are to young to remember what the OG's were like so you you dont know the difference. Lebron gets Nike's best new cutting edge technology. LOVE UM, cant wait for more pics.

The man's right! I wasn't around for the OG Jordan's, but there's no denying that Lebron's are better quality and comfort. Most of my Jordan's are retros, and sadly they aren't the same as Lebron's; but hey, everyone has their own taste right?

Smart guy, lebron does not get the newest nike technology first. Fly wire had long been introduced way before it appeared on the 7. And the 8 added fuse material. The ZK4 had fly wire and the sock liner was completely fusion material, way before a lebron shoe had these new nike technologys. So if any players shoe has nikes newest tech, its usually the kobes. Do ur research, non sneaker head.

Lebron's over J's. Lol. Yeh they're better quality, but I don't buy my retros to play in anyway. Plus, there's nothing classic about Lebron silhouettes. They almost always look dated, aesthetically speaking, even after just a couple years. For real Lebrick's look like Leboats. This coming from a MIA season ticket holder. I manage a sneaker store and when I type in lebrons 9 it says MIami NIghts Lebron 9. The color code is green. It's been in our computer since last year… So I guess it will be a new South Beach color way. I ll post the Nike code tomorrow when I get off. I haven't seen any info on this sneaker yet. Just some info for y'all

As far as playing ball sure, LBJ's over Jordans. But so are most shoes now. J's are a legacy, I cannot play in most J's. To actually play i'de use shoes like Kobes, Lebrons, Hyperdunks, and Under Armour is commin up! I love the Brandon Jennings Black Ice!!

Retro Js are not really made for ballin. You cant compare the performance of Lebrons v Jordans bc the Js are at least 10 years older than the Lebrons. So yes you being the genius you are you figured out that technology got better in 10 years.. congrats. BOTTOM LINE MJ DIDN'T NEED THE TECHNOLOGY! lol There would be NO Lebrons without Jordans.
