While Paris was recently host to the Quai 54 International Streetball Tournament, it would be a shame to let the Frenchies have all the fun. Converse brought the ballin’ back to the USA this Monday, July 11th with the Converse Band of Ballers event in New York City. This three-on-three tournament pitted celebrity teams against each other, with the likes of Wiz Khalifa, Jim Jones, Cory Gunz, and many others showing up to flex their skills on the hardwood. Converse went the extra mile in making this a cultural event, with DJ D-Nice spinning records and streetball historian and known sneakerhead Bobbito Garcia doing the commentary. MTV2 was there capturing all the hooping that went down, and the winner of this epic tournament will be revealed on-air in a few short weeks. Hit the jump to get a full look at the festivities from the recent Converse Band of Ballers event.
