The Nike SB Team Edition has been out of circulation for some time now (so long we’ve never profiled one here on Sneaker News), but echoes from its inclusion in the Swoosh Skateboarding lineup can be felt any time you lace up a pair of Dunk Pro SBs. The Team Edition featured a traction pattern whose many concentric circles resemble the new SB Dunk forefoot, which turns out to be particularly interesting when you see how much has changed between the original and this second in the series. The Nike SB Team Edition 2 comes off a bit more like another Stefan Janoski model than a true signature to the original, their simply satisfying lowtop chukka silhouette, brogue detailing and vulc sole leading to a distinctly different feel than the chunky cupsole from the mid ’00s.
