If you became curious when reading our summary of Complex’s 50 Sneaker Facts You Didn’t Know list, you might have read through and realized that New Balance’s pricing structure for a large portion of their retro runners is basically the model’s number divided by 10 (or multiplied by 10 if you start with the model in pennies). So that means that the New Balance CM1700 should retail for around a buck seventy, and frankly, that’s a price many US sneakerheads would gladly shell out were this cult favorite ever actually released stateside. But thanks once again to the magic of the internet, these models that would have remained an Asian exclusive at retailers like mita sneakers can now also be found on eBay.
