If you’re one of the thousands of loyal Sneaker News followers, you already know we’re all about giving back. Over the last year, Sneaker News has offered some of the best sneakers of the year in advance of the release date, but this time around we’re changing things up by giving away a pair of the Nike Air Max 1 iD – a sneaker that has no release date and until the end of the contest, is a complete mystery. To make this a bit more interesting, this latest Sneaker Giveaway winner will be determined by…who else? You! The Sneaker News Staff will select the finalists, but the winner will be chosen based on a reader vote. Only the first 100 entrants will be considered, and remember, we’re looking for originality and creativity – the true essence of Nike iD. The finalists will be announced early next week, so start designing! Cole is one my favorite artist, in hip-hop, and as a music lover, I had to pay homage to him as well as his mix tape. The Warm Up is my favorite J. Cole mix tape and I really wanted to incorporate three of my favorite things into this one shoe: music, shoes, and design. As for this colorway, I really wanted to incorporate all the elements of the album cover. The background mainly consists of various shades of blue as well as various shades of white. As the main focus, J. Cole is basically in a grey sweatshirt, with a plain white tee under it. I really wanted to put all these colors into this one color way. Thank you.

Just Denim..I love Denim Material on anything...and I think it looks dope on AM1..and I just worked on something that I would see people wearing in NYC and that was my inspiration for it, and the "Swag" and "Based" tags I got it from those Love and Hate rings that were popular in the 80's...in my generation Love and HAte isn't a popular terminology..But Swag and Based sure the hell is lol..

I can't seem to log into my FB, but here's my design. I hope it qualifies. "COWABUNGA" Inspired by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
