It’s not shocking that the new grey/white/neon or 2005-retro in V.Red and Steel Grey Air Jordan X Retros previewed in recent months are lacking embroidery detailing on their lateral ankles, but a recent Old Royal revelation with ’23′ on its sides has us remembering previous samples of this‘Chicago’ colorway. That’s the interesting thing about the Tens; on the surface they’re one of the simplest of all the Air Jordan Legacy, but this one particular model has room for a variety of expressions. From the embroidery to the re-reversed Jumpman on this pair appearing in red instead of the original’s backwards black, keen-eyed sneakerheads will be able to determine an AJX’s vintage on the spot thanks to these small changes. This is one that never said ‘NIKE AIR’ in the first place; are the differences subtle enough to stay true to the OGs? They're still retro Jordans. Period. When people see these heat on yo feet they gon look and frown with hatred. They ain't gon look and say "Oh the 23 is missing" or "Haha his shoe doesn't have the 45 on it!!" or "I wonder if the shoes came in a special shoebox?" The differences in the shoe compared to the original are MINOR. Jordan fans need to stop complaining. That being said either cop or STFU!!

Seattle's are one of the best. The Black and Green sole with the Yellow jumpman insignia on the sole is supreme.

Hey at least the 23 gives them some flavor, you know? Like don't get me wrong I'm looking forward to these as like potentially my favorite pair of 2012 (compared to other things I've seen), but you GOTTA admit that without the 23 it's a pretty basic design. The 23 just gives it that flare, that one stand out edge that makes the people who aren't even big on kicks look down at your feet and say "Damn".
