The most recent Vulc Rod release from Nike SB came in black with a vibrant green shade called Hyper Verde providing the accent hits. The overall look is something like a laser light cutting the air in a dark club or convert venue, whereas the Volt elements on this new Nike SB P-Rod V serve to give the shoe a ‘highlighter’ look. We’ve seen a similar approach to neon-on-black from other LunarLon-cushioned releases, but this P-Rod 5 is novel among those and the P-Rod line as a whole for the relatively rare use of nubuck. Click through so you can see how this slightly-smoother-than-suede material translates to the P-Rod V’s smooth lines, and look for these exclusively in-store at select SB spots like Premier.
