Nike Air Speed Turf Max – Summer 2012

Like Eli, Nike just ‘did it’. Welcome back the Nike Air Speed Turf Max, possibly one of the greatest releases in the 90′s Nike Football era. It comes equipped with everything we loved about mid-90′s Nike Trainers – Max Air on the heel, a sleek midfoot strap, and a super-aggressive midsole design; we commonly associate the OG White/Teal/Orange/Black colorway to Dan Marino, long considered one of the greatest QBs to ever play the game. Arriving in 2012 is the Nike Air Speed Turf Max in the OG Dolphins colorway and the OG Black/White colorway (but with a silver Max Air unit – the original was neon green). Also dropping alongside those two originals is a Navy/White colorway and a Grey/Green color-up. The Air Speed Turf Max has been one of most high-demand Retro releases for a while, but will that translate to box-office success, given the moderate success of recent Trainer Retros? I had the black / white and volt ones in 96, supreme dopeness. Did I hear anything about the Air Mission Turfs? Bring them back, please...
I have the actual OG Football cleats sitting in my closet from High School, 11th grade. I am 32 now (15 years ago). These are awesome!
I like these but a picture is enough to bring back the memories. Not a design I'd purchase today tho. Now the Jr. Seau's?....YES! Keep the classics coming NIKE!

My EXACT first thoughts were , hopefully the Zoom Turfs will be next ..........The Black and Silver were my Freshman Year back to school jumpoffs and would jump at the chance of owning another pair

i'm always searching ebay for a decent pair of the black/white/volt and the dolphins colorway, with this and the DT2's coming re-releasing nike is really pleasing my appetite for those old turf trainers from back in the day.
