The Nike Zoom Rookie LWP had some big shoes to fill, following the immense success of the Air 1/2 Cent and the legendary yet short-lived Air Penny line. Nike designer Marc Dolce recently discussed the design inspiration and detailing behind the Zoom Rookie LWP, which launched the first release in the ‘Glow In The Dark’ colorway last week. Combining elements of the Air Penny line like Foamposite, a carbon-fiber shank plate, and inner bootie fit, the Zoom Rookie LWP is as much of a performance shoe as it is a Lifestyle sneaker, so it’s only a matter of time before we see these on the feet on an NBA player (Gilbert Arenas, perhaps?). copping for sure. these are sick. i love the air flight ones and the Go LWP's i was never a big fan of the overall look. But the zoom rookies are fire!! i would love 2 pairs, one to rock and one to ball in.
I just got the glow in the dark lwp's overall well made shoe in my opinion best hybrid I've seen so far I wanna see the other colors .I was lucky enough to get the g.i.d's I'd cop again...but leave the foams @ 190.00 Nike ya raping the game and my pockets LOL
These are fire. Best hybrid from NSW, still playable and not as bulky as the foams = well done.

Time well spent in my estimation. Again, only my opinion, but this is Nike Sportswear's best hybrid yet, and that's saying something because the Half Cents are also quite sick.
Yes, it's a nice shoe, but I would hope that 2 and a half years would be enough time for a SHOE DESIGNER to come up with a NEW shoe... all they did here was steal ideas off two other shoes and turn it into one...
